Piast Gliwice returns to training on June 22 to prepare for the 2026/27 season. The coaching staff confirmed that the team will start preparations on Monday. In the first week, the team will play a friendly match against Raków Częstochowa on June 27. Two days later, on June 29, Piast Gliwice will head for a 10-day training camp in Opalenica. The decision on the preparation dates is linked to the competition calendar, which accounts for the later start of the PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa season due to the World Cup. The preparation plan also includes other friendly matches, including those against GKS Katowice, Baník Ostrava, and Miedź Legnica. After the training camp, the team will return on July 9, and the first round of the Ekstraklasa will take place on July 25-26. Piast Gliwice has ambitious plans for the upcoming season, and the preparations aim to ensure the best possible form before the start of the competition.
